About this Case:
On the morning of June 23, 1979, a Denver Parks and Recreation employee noticed an individual inside of a sleeping bag within Washington Park. Upon closer observation, the employee noticed a significant amount of blood around the person's head. Members of the Denver Police Department and emergency service personnel responded to the scene. During the investigation it was determined 19 year old Michael Thomas had been shot to death. A suspect has yet to be identified.
