About this Case:
On the afternoon of June 7, 1974, members of the Denver Police Department responded to the Royale Custom Tailor & Furs shop located on the 1400 block of Welton Street. Mrs. Weinberger had placed the frantic call when she had returned to her husband's place of business and found him unresponsive on the floor. Upon arrival, officers located 58 year old George Weinberger deceased in the business. During the investigation it was learned Mr. Weinberger was shot to death in an apparent robbery attempt.
