About this Case:
On August 31, 2003 at approx. 1:45am, 28 year old Christopher Wilford was leaving the Denver's Best Sports Bar and Grill off 38th and Walnut street when an unknown suspect began firing into the crowd. Christopher, as well as five other individuals, were struck by gunfire. Christopher was the only person that died as a result of his injuries. Police say Wilford had a rap sheet, including an arrest earlier that year for dealing drugs and was known to be involved in gangs, but are still not sure if Wilford was the intended target of the shooting.
