About this Case:
On June 4, 2006, at approximately 2:00 A.M., victim James Wyatt Jr. became involved in an altercation with the occupants of a vehicle that was driving by. During the course of the altercation, an unknown occupant shot victim James Wyatt Jr. After the shooting, which transpired near the lower downtown intersections of 18th and Blake Streets, the suspect vehicle sped off. James Wyatt Jr. was immediately transported to a local hospital. James Wyatt Jr. eventually succumbed to his injuries and died four days later on June 8, 2006.
