On May 15, 1990, Garfield County Deputies responded to a suspicious death on Highway 6, in between Parachute and Rifle, Colorado. Thomas Norman Bast, a 40 year old male, was identified as the victim that was shot and killed. Mr. Bast was seen at a Parachute bar by several witnesses the night of this death.
