About this Case:
On June 6, 2002, a body was found at the Walmart located on 3010 Blake Ave in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The body was later identified as Walmart employee Thomas Lubchenco. It was determined that he had been shot to death sometime around 11:30pm that night. Witnesses described the suspect as a 5-foot 10-inch tall white male with a thin build, wearing a black baseball cap and a black jacket. At the time of his death, Lubchenco was known locally for his oil paintings, which won numerous awards in area art shows, and for his articles in the local newspaper.
