In April 1969, the body of 17 year old Joyce Neill was found off Golden Gate Park Road down an embankment. Neill had moved to Denver from Arizona, was working as a nurse's aide at Mercy Hospital and living in a house in Denver with several roommates. Neill had been stabbed. She was last seen when she had been dropped off at City Park. Neill had been associating with motorcycle gangs, possibly the Husky Hustlers.
