On July 28, 1989, a man trying to find a hubcap discovered a body down an embankment near Highway 93 on Golden Gate Canyon Road. The body was identified as Sharon Stone, who had also used the names Sharon Flynn and Sharon Geionety. Stone had been living in Clinton, Oklahoma and working as a maid in a hotel. In May, 1989, she had called her sister to say she was in Colorado, and had come here with a man. Stone applied for a Colorado ID card and on May 30, 1989 worked for a temporary agency.
