On Saturday, March 20, 2004, at approximately 1:45 A.M., Angela Sharp and three of her friends exited the Lakewood Bar and Grill, located at 8100 West Colfax Avenue, to return home. As Angela was opening her car door, an unidentified male ran up and shot Angela, fatally wounding her. The three friends were not threatened or assaulted during the attack.
