About this Case:
Sheila Sawyer was found dead on U.S. Highway 13, seven miles south of Craig. Her body, discovered by two truck drivers at dawn April 10, 1975, was lying on the east side of the highway near the old Sterling Hard Ranch. The Moffat County coroner determined that Sawyer had been shot three times with a .38 caliber bullet. Sawyer had been working as a clerk at Scottys Liquors the night before her body was discovered.
