About this Case:
On August 9, 1994, Sally M. Lopez was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head near the 1000 block of East 6th Street. She succumbed to her wounds two days later. Her death is believed to be rival-gang related, but it is unclear whether Ms. Lopez was the intended target. That night, she and four other friends were walking to her grandmother's house when she was struck. The initial primary suspect, Timothy Parker, died in November 1994, but had admitted to the murder and allegedly through the weapon in Fountain Creek.
