About this Case:
On May 16, 1998, an unidentified male body was found in Weld County, near Weld County Road 9.75 and Weld County Road 74. Thankfully, in June of 2005, due to the advancement of new fingerprint technology, detectives were able to identify the male as Ruben Ortiz-Gutierrez, a 30-year-old from Denver. Suspects involved in drug trafficking from Mexico were investigated but no probable cause for arrest was established.
