About this Case:

Tracey sometimes went by the name Tracey Ragains, but most of her family and friends know her as Tracey Disbrow. Tracey was last seen around 3Pm on July 8, 1989 by her roommates in Colorado Springs. The next day her body was found near Weld County Roads 4 and 7 in an irrigation ditch three miles southeast of Erie, CO. The cause of death was multiple stab wounds. Tracey was seventeen years old at the time of her death, and she was a witness set to testify against defendants in cases involving narcotics, prostitution, and the arson of a Colorado Springs night club. Ms. Disbrow was a witness to this arson and child sex exploitation case against her former boss, Joe Linton. The El Paso County Distract Attorney's Office had developed Tracey as a confidential informant and her information led to charges against multiple subjects. On July 9, 1989, shortly before the trial was set to begin, Tracey was found murdered. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the Weld County Sheriff's Office.
