About this Case:
Doris and Allen Sorenson were an elderly couple who owned a jewelry store called Sorenson Jewelers in Windsor, Colorado. They are described as kind and fiscally generous but private people who worked hard and socialized rarely. Doris was 66 and Allen was 79. In the days following October 31st, 1984, neighbors noticed several newspapers piled up on the front yard in front of the Sorenson's home and the police were called to check on the couple. The jewelry store was searched first as it was unusual for the couple to not be working on a Monday. On November 5th the couple and the family dog were found murdered in their Windsor home at 519 Locust St. They had been killed on Halloween. The cause of death was strangulation. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the Windsor Police Department.
