About this Case:
Officers responded to 12690 East Colfax Avenue on the report of a shooting. Witnesses advised that the victim, Jesus Reyes, had pulled up facing eastbound into the Conoco lot and then went inside to buy cigarettes. He was seen alone. A dark colored Durango with tinted windows pulled up facing westbound next to Mr. Reyes' car. Two Hispanic males exchanged words with him in Spanish. After that, one of the suspects pulled out a gun from his waistband. Mr. Reyes attempted to get in his car, but the suspect fired two shots at him, striking and killing him.
