On December 10, 2005, David Bernal was attending a holiday season gathering located at 1300 Winona Ct. in Denver, Colorado. Sometime in the night, officers were called to this location on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, David Bernal, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
