About this Case:
On January 20, 2001, at age 19 months, Amanda Gallegos was found deceased in the basement at 8481 McDougal Street. She hemorrhaged from an internal kidney injury, an autopsy found, possibly caused by squeezing or repeatedly striking her chest and back. She had four broken ribs. Child abuse/foul play is suspected.
