Collins, CO. Ed claimed that Sherry had left their residence the previous evening after an argument. Investigators later learned Shery was at the motel so she could separate herself from her husband, who she had planned on divorcing. On July, 23, 1996, Ed and his brother called the Weld County Sheriff's Office to report they found Sherry's car in a motel parking lot. Mrs. Parker's body was discovered in the St. Vrain River on July 26, 1996.
