About this Case:
On November 23, 1974, Jesse Cox was discovered by witnesses on the roadway near Montview Blvd and N. Eagle St. He was transported to Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. Mr. Cox passed away a short time after reaching the emergency room. The case was initially investigated as an on-roadway/auto-pedestrian hit-and-run, all follow-up is geared off the initial investigation. Although the death certificate indicates death by motor vehicle, medical reports indicate the victim was not struck by a motor vehicle but succumbed to blunt force trauma to the head.
