On July 17, 2007 officers of the Aurora Police Department responded to 231 South Jasper Circle, Apartment #105, on a welfare check. Upon arriving the decomposing bodies of Ignacio Estrada and Juan Ayala were discovered. Another roommate who had lived with both men could not be located.
