On January 18, 2013 at approximately 11:04 p.m. Aurora Police Officers responded to 2362 Emporia Street on a report of a shooting. The victim was located in the back bedroom of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to the University Hospital - AIP where she was pronounced. Information indicated that there may have been some street gang/narcotics connections between the victim and a possible suspect.
