About this Case:

On December 26, 2013, about 7:55 P.M. Officers were summoned to apartment #K-23, at 11922 East Archer Place, by relatives and associates of the decedent. Rodolfo was found lying on his back on the living room floor of the one bedroom apartment. Rodolfo had ligature marks around his neck. Evidence at the scene indicated that a brief struggle likely occurred in the living room, as blood smears were seen on one wall, on the window blinds, on a couch pillow, etc. Rodolfo lived with another Hispanic male subject, identified as Eric DeJesus " Jesus" Chacon-Martinez (03/23/1982). Rodolfo and Jesus were blood cousins (Rodolfo's father , and Jesus' mother, were siblings). Investigation revealed a feud between the two had been brewing, Rodolfo was murdered, then Jesus fled to Mexico. A suspect DNA profile was developed in 2014, but Jesus' whereabouts are unknown at this time. Anyone with information is asked to please contact the Aurora Police Department.
