About this Case:
On May 14, 2017, at approximately 3:14am, officers responded to the address of 16104 E. Brunswick Drive on report of a shooting. A large house party was encountered. Initially, the party was to be a small affair, until it was posted on Facebook. The party had become raucous and the participants were asked to leave by the host. A verbal argument ensued and escalated into a physical one involving multiple combatants. The individuals moved outside the house. Two victims, including Mr. Herrera-Moreno, were ultimately stabbed, and retreat back into the house. Both were transported to the Medical Center of Aurora where the victim succumbed to his wounds.
