Poole was last seen in the Miners Candle area of Idaho Springs/Clear Creek County on June 20, 2016 at about 3am. Reporting person said she had heard Poole calling for his dog at that time. She then called 911 to report Poole as missing. Reporting person said later that morning Poole's dog had returned home with Poole's hat.
