On March 17, 1987, 20 year old Darlene Krashoc, who was an Army Soldier stationed at Fort Carson, was discovered by two Colorado Springs Police Department police officers in the Korean Club Restaurant parking lot. Ms. Krashoc's cause of death was listed as strangulation. Ms. Krashoc's family and the United States Army are still actively involved in this investigation.
