About this Case:
On December 19, 2003, Michael Leighton was at a car wash located on the 3400 block of West Colfax Avenue. Mr. Leighton was approached by an unknown suspect, when an altercation ensued and the suspect shot Mr. Leighton. The unknown suspect fled the scene. Mr. Leighton was transported to Denver Health Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.
