About this Case:
On November 22, 1978, a Colorado Springs Police Department patrol officer discovered 63 year old Dr. Neil MacEahern fatally shot in a vehicle in the Candlelight Inn parking lot in Colorado Springs. The autopsy concluded manner of death was homicide resulting from multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed a high probability this was a robbery and murder. Several items were found missing, as well as scattered a little ways away from the crime scene. The investigation into Dr. MacEahern's death remains open.
