On October 29, 2017, at approximately 3:00 AM, CSPD officers were dispatched to the area of Albertacos located at the 4400 block of Austin Bluffs Parkway regarding a shooting call for service. Upon the officers' arrival, they located multiple victims who had been shot, including 16-year-old Nathaniel Czajkowski who had been killed.
