About this Case:
On April 3, 2016 at approximately 12:42pm, officers were dispatched to the alley of 3219 West Nevada Place on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Scott Breitinger, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He had been gunned down in broad daylight while riding his motorcycle on his way to visit a friend. He was transported to the hospital and pronounced deceased a short time later. Parents Doug and Vicki Breitinger believe his murder may have been part of a random gang initiation or possibly a case of mistaken identity.
