About this Case:
On the afternoon of July 19th, 1981 a friend went to Mr. Atwood's Capital Hill apartment to return an item he had borrowed the previous day. When 64 year old Mr. Atwood did not answer the door, the friend entered the apartment. It was at this time that Mr. Atwood was found stabbed to death inside his residence.
