In the early morning hours of October 6th, 1979, 42 year old Willie Bender was inside of Pooh's and Sha's Restaurant located near the intersection of East 34th Avenue and Franklin Street. Mr. Bender and another unknown male became involved in an argument. During the course of the argument, the unidentified suspect shot and killed Mr. Bender.
