On May 30, 1993 officers responded to the 2800 block of Birch Street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 63 year old Louise Brown inside of a his residence dead of an apparent gunshot wound. The investigation found that unknown suspects in a vehicle drove by and shot into the residence several times, mortally striking Louise.
