About this Case:
On the morning of May 21, 1981 officers of the Denver Police Department responded to the 2600 block of Welton Street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, it was discovered that 53 year old Calvin Castlebarry sustained a serious gun shot wound to his torso. He was discovered in his living quarters of the building situated behind what was then Bishop's Barber Shop in the Five Points business area. Mr. Castlebarry was immediately transported to a local hospital, but died as a result of his injuries.
