About this Case:

34 year old James Chandler was a long time resident of Northeast Denver. On March 10, 1981, he went to Cook's Club on East 32nd Avenue and Downing Street. Shortly after he left, witnesses saw a brown full sized sedan pull up near the victim behind the Gilliam Youth Center, located on the 2800 block of Downing Street. The occupants got out of the car and assaulted Mr. Chandler. The police arrived and found Mr. Chandler lying on the ground. He was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
