About this Case:
On July 10, 2001, Crews was at his southwest Denver home with his roommate, Alan Fantin, when unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry to the home at gunpoint. Crews and Fantin attempted to force the door closed and in doing so, one suspect shot through the door striking Crews. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
