Wesley was riding in a car with a friend when another vehicle pulled along side of them at a stoplight. As the vehicles were positioned next to each other near the downtown intersection of 15th and Lawrence Streets, multiple gunshots were fired into the vehicle that Wesley Cummins was inside of .
