On September 24, 1994, 80 year old Fred Dudley was attacked and beaten in the parking lot of the Cherry Cricket located on the 2600 block of East 2nd Avenue. His vehicle was stolen, and was later recovered in Rocky Mountain National Park on September 25, 1994.
