About this Case:
On July 6, 2003, 18 year old Ernest Gallegos had just left the area of West 10th Avenue and Federal, where he had been talking with a group of females in a vehicle. As he drove southbound on Federal Boulevard a dark colored vehicle pulled alongside of him and began firing into his vehicle. After the shooting Ernest's vehicle came to a stop due to a collision with a pole. Ernest was taken to the hospital and died as a result of his injuries.
