About this Case:
In the early morning of May 1, 2005, officers responded to the Dahlia Shopping Center on a report of an injured party found in the parking lot. Upon arrival, the victim, Floyd Hafley, was located and discovered to have sustained seven gunshot wounds. Mr. Hafley was transported to a local hospital, but died as a result of his injuries. Mr. Hafley was last seen on this day around 2:00am waiting for a taxi outside the Wrangler, a gay bar on the 1700 block of Logan Street. He was then found three hours later at the shopping center. His class ring from Hearne High School in Texas had been ripped from his finger. His clothes had been taken and his wallet stolen. Officials believe whatever did happen, started at the Wrangler Bar.
