27 year old Gwendolyn Harris frequented the Polo Club Lounge, which was located near the downtown streets of 15th and Tremont. Ms. Harris was last seen at the Polo Club Lounge on the evening of December 20, 1980. The following day, she was found stabbed to death at the intersection of East 47th Avenue & Andrews Drive in Montbello.
