36 year old James Holman lived in an apartment complex located on the 500 block of East 11th Ave in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. On February 13, 1992, the building manager was notified by some tenants of suspicious circumstances emanating within the victim's apartment. As a result, the building manager checked on James Holman's welfare where he was found deceased. Due to the nature of James Holman's injuries, this case was investigated as a homicide.
