About this Case:
Leonard Howard had returned to his townhome at 9825 East Girard Avenue with a friend, at about 10pm on the evening of February 7, 1994. They found the door to the home open. His friend told police that Howard entered and went to a second-floor bedroom, where an intruder shot and killed him. The friend was unable to give a description of the suspect or getaway vehicle. It is uncertain if the murder was the result of an interrupted burglary, or if Howard was targeted by personal enemies.
