About this Case:
On March 3, 2003, the victim, George Macias, was involved in an altercation with a group of individuals near the intersection of Grove Street and West Ellsworth Avenue. During this altercation, the suspect(s) entered a vehicle just as Mr. Macias went to grab the driver. It was at this point that the driver maneuvered the vehicle in a manner that caused Mr. Macias to fall away from the cab vehicle. The suspect then fled the area and drove over the Mr. Macias. Mr. Macias was transported to the hospital and died just over a week later as a result of his injuries.
