About this Case:
On February 27, 2004, at approximately 9 P.M., officers from the Denver Police Department responded to the area of West 25th Avenue and Clay Street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located not only victim Jorge Ortiz, but also a second victim. Both had been shot and each were transported to a local hospital. Unfortunately, victim Jorge Ortiz did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased several hours later on February 28, 2004.
