About this Case:

Officers from the Denver Police Department were called to the Standish Hotel on a report of a deceased male within one of the rooms. The victim was identified as Edward Pelter, a registered guest at the hotel. Due to the suspicious nature of the victim's death, which was caused by asphyxiation, this case was investigated as a homicide. Victim Edward Pelter, honorable, served in the United States Military and at the time of his murder, was confined to a wheelchair.
