About this Case:
36 year old Michael Reichert had worked for the U.S. Motels Inc. as an assistant to the owner, managing more than 20 properties. Michael worked long hours, seven days a week, but had quit his job with plans to go into business with his brother. Shortly after midnight on October 9, 2000, Michael was beaten to death in the parking lot of the Acts I & II Theater on West Colfax Avenue and King Street.
