On July 8, 1976, the Denver Police and Fire Departments responded to the Connection Bar at the intersection of Alameda Avenue and South Zuni Street, to a structure fire. 28 year old Camilo Roys Jr. was one of two bodies found inside that died due to smoke inhalation. Mr. Roys was a member of the band that performed at the bar. This case is being investigated as an arson due to its suspicious nature.
